About the Role
We are looking for a Middle Project Manager to lead and deliver IT projects. In this role, you will serve as the central point of coordination between business stakeholders, development teams, QA, and design — ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
You will manage small-to-mid-sized projects or workstreams within larger programs, working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment as well as participate in coordination of pre-sale cycle. This role requires someone who can speak the language of developers, understand technical constraints, and leverage modern AI-powered tools to drive efficiency across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and close IT projects, managing scope, timeline, budget, and quality throughout the lifecycle;
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, demos) and ensure teams adhere to agreed-upon processes;
- Collaborate with product owners and business stakeholders to gather, clarify, and prioritize requirements;
- Create and maintain project documentation: project plans, risk registers, status reports, and meeting notes;
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and blockers; escalate issues proactively when needed;
- Manage dependencies across teams and coordinate release planning with development and QA leads;
- Track project KPIs and communicate progress to stakeholders through clear, data-driven reporting;
- Continuously improve team processes, leveraging AI tools and automation to optimize workflows, reporting, and documentation;
- Participate in and manage pre-sale activities: join discovery calls, contribute to effort and resource estimation, prepare project proposals and statements of work (SOW), support technical scoping sessions, and present solutions to prospective clients alongside sales and business development teams;
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and contractors when applicable;
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering software development projects;
- Technical understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC): solid grasp of how software is built — from architecture and coding to testing, CI/CD, and deployment. Ability to read technical documentation, understand system diagrams, and have meaningful conversations with developers and engineers about technical trade-offs;
- Proficient user of AI tools: demonstrated, hands-on experience using AI-powered tools (e.g., ChatGPT / Claude, GitHub Copilot, AI-based PM assistants, automated reporting and summarization tools) to enhance productivity, streamline documentation, analyze data, and support decision-making within projects;
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies; practical experience running sprints and managing backlogs;
- Hands-on experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — ability to translate between technical and business language;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills with a proactive approach to risk management;
- Familiarity with the pre-sale process: experience participating in or supporting pre-sale activities — discovery calls, effort estimation, proposal preparation, technical scoping, and client presentations. Ability to collaborate with sales and business development teams to assess project feasibility, define high-level scope, and contribute to building compelling commercial offers;
- English proficiency — Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher;
