Kerakoll

In 1968, Romano Sghedoni founded Kerakoll in Sassuolo, Italy, at just 30 years old. His passion for construction, chemistry, and engineering led him to design and produce the first single-component adhesives in his garage, eventually establishing the company in the heart of Italy's most important ceramic district. From these humble beginnings, Kerakoll has grown into a major multinational company operating in the construction industry.

Today, Kerakoll is organized into four Business Units focusing on Laying, Construction, Surfaces, and Services, offering an integrated range of products and services to build better places to live. The company became a Benefit Corporation in 2021, the first among the top players in the construction industry, and obtained B Corp certification in 2023, confirming its commitment to a new ESG business model generating economic, social, and environmental value. With operations spanning 3 continents and 9 time zones, the group generates approximately €713 million in revenue, with 46% coming from foreign markets, and employs over 2,450 people worldwide.
