What you will do
Partnering directly with the HVAC Service leadership team, this role is responsible for managing analytic support tied to the HVAC Initiative programs. Participates in developing and documenting business end-to-end reporting; developing and launching program enhancements; creating processes tied to metrics and tracking expectations to the field and those affected. Responsible for providing consistent metric outputs to the appropriate stakeholders to track financial expectations/commitments and performance metrics.
Excellent analytical skills with an ability to apply a balanced understanding of all business elements are required. The ability to effectively communicate with varying levels within the organization is essential. Knowledge of business plans, strategies, and technology skills is required.
This role works closely in a collaborative team environment with other departments to meet deadlines and ensure timely and quality responses to internal and external customers.
How you will do it
Gain functional understanding of the HVAC Service business platform and related tools.
Build, develop, and deploy key metrics and performance indicators for HVAC Leadership, local market personnel, and others reliant on the HVAC Service business.
Support the delivery and training of program enhancements, key metrics, and new analytic tools to the field.
Become proficient in a variety of available tools and utilize them appropriately to develop and deliver new platforms to the field and our leaders.
Collaborate with and support other Operations Program Managers as a member of the team supporting HVAC Service.
Assist with the development and delivery of communication plans to the HVAC Service organization related to new business initiatives, strategy, and metrics that will aid in tracking adherence and performance.
Participate in application functional design processes and team reviews.
Communicate with peers and all levels of management as needed to gather and document metric expectations and requirements.
Partner with local market leaders and resources to gain further knowledge of business and process effectiveness, train on program enhancements/processes, and implement necessary countermeasures.
Ensure timely contact, appropriate communication, and follow-up with various teams to resolve any issues.
Maintain documentation in shared filing systems and follow established procedures and guidelines.
Promote and adhere to Johnson Controls' safety policies.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
What we look for
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or other related field; or equivalent work experience.
5 years of work experience in an analytical position.
Proficiency in using the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project) and Microsoft SharePoint.
Proficient in working with large data sets and creating pivot tables.
Experience with PowerBI, Siebel/Oracle, Hyperion, and other business management systems preferred.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively.
Ability to travel 10-25%.
