Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Inbound Sales Consultant who has experience in identifying and influencing decision makers of large organizations to win new deals. As an inbound sales consultant, your job is to answer phone calls and sell products or services to customers or to assist customers in resolving issues they are having. These duties include placing orders for customers or scheduling installation, repair, or follow up work. In addition to customer service, your responsibilities as a sales representative are to listen to the customer and try to sell them additional products or services or to upgrade their existing products or service subscriptions.

This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a remote long-term freelancing contract, learning new skills and working as part of a strong artificial intelligence software team. There are plenty of customer facing opportunities and challenges to go around.

Qualifications

Key responsibilities:

  • Represent John Snow Labs, its solutions and software, for the assigned territory
  • Exceed quarterly and annual bookings target for subscriptions and services
  • Carry out business development activities to develop pipeline for the territory
  • Manage customer and internal relationships through all stages of the sales cycle
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in all customer accounts
  • Coordinate engagement with the customer, including support, service, and management

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

  • 2+ years’ professional experience in software or technology sales, machine learning or artificial intelligence
  • Proven success in B2B sales, from introductions to contract negotiations
  • Detail orientated with strong follow-up skills, negotiating skills and an ability to close sales
  • Excellent presentation skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be productive in a globally distributed team through self-discipline and self-motivation
  • Represent the company well at external events
  • Graduate degree in related field
