Hey there! I’m Aman, and I run a coaching business - Software Engineering Accelerator - that helps people land software engineering jobs and get the training they need to grow their careers.

I also dive into YouTube business, helping creators improve their channels with smart strategies and high-performing visuals. Our mission is simple: make learning and career growth accessible, effective, and even fun.

We’re looking for a YouTube Thumbnail Designer who’s experienced, creative, and obsessed with YouTube trends. You’ll help our channel grow by designing thumbnails that capture attention and keep viewers engaged while owning the visual style of our content.

In this role, you will:

🎨 Develop and own the visual style of the channel
📈 Consistently ship thumbnails that improve CTR and viewer retention
📂 Create and maintain a thumbnail reference library and testing process

Requirements

To excel in this role, you need:

✅ Proven track record with large creators or agency work for top-performing channels

✅ Experience in Photoshop and Figma

✅ Strong understanding of YouTube trends and data-driven creative decision-making

✅ Excellent communication and creative judgment - you can defend and explain design choices clearly

Brownie points for:

⭐ Experience designing thumbnails for top YouTube channels (100K+ subs or videos with millions of views)

⭐ Strong understanding of YouTube psychology - emotion, curiosity gaps, tension, color, and storytelling through visuals

⭐ Ability to ideate thumbnail concepts independently from the title and video angle

⭐ Can deliver 2–3 strong versions per title

⭐ Comfortable producing 8–10 high-quality thumbnails per week with fast turnaround

⭐ Experience analyzing CTR data and iterating based on performance
