Vice President, React Native Developer (Remote, Mumbai)

This role offers the opportunity to lead the development of high-performance, scalable mobile applications using React Native. You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex features across iOS and Android platforms, collaborating closely with product, backend, and DevOps teams. Accountabilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of React Native mobile applications for iOS and Android.
• Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance frontend systems while integrating with backend APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement complex features such as dynamic forms, push notifications, deep linking, media upload, and offline support.
• Ensure code quality, modularity, maintainability, and adherence to best practices through code reviews and automated testing frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend engineers, and DevOps to deliver seamless and reliable user experiences.
• Monitor and optimize application performance, debug platform-specific issues using tools such as Flipper, Xcode, and Android Studio.
• Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, trends in fintech, mobile development, and blockchain to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on React Native for mobile applications.
• Proven experience delivering production-quality mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Deep understanding of React Native internals, platform-specific behaviors, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating with REST APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
• Familiarity with performance monitoring, crash reporting, and agile development workflows.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and technical decision-making.
