This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a UX/UI Designer (Mobile Experience) in the United States.
As a UX/UI Designer focused on mobile experiences, you will help enhance and simplify workflows for inspection and reporting across iOS, Android, and web platforms. You will work closely with senior designers and engineers to translate complex tasks into intuitive screens, ensuring consistency and accessibility across all touchpoints. Your role will involve refining design systems, producing annotated specifications, prototyping in Figma, and validating ideas with users and internal teams. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to make a real impact on a widely used platform, collaborating within a small, fast-moving team while contributing to products that support thousands of users daily.
Accountabilities:
- Design mobile-first flows for property inspection, reporting, and syncing tasks.
- Break down multi-step processes into clear screens and concise microcopy.
- Apply platform-appropriate patterns for iOS, Android, and responsive web interfaces.
- Expand and maintain the design system to ensure component consistency.
- Produce annotated design specifications detailing states, behaviors, and accessibility considerations.
- Prototype designs in Figma and test concepts with users and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineers during handoff, QA, and release phases.
- Document design decisions to create a reusable and searchable knowledge base.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of product design experience, including mobile and some web projects.
- Portfolio demonstrating flows, prototypes, and shipped UI designs.
- Strong understanding of iOS/Android design patterns and responsive principles.
- Experience producing detailed, annotated design specifications.
- Proficient in Figma for design and prototyping.
- Familiarity with design systems and component-driven workflows.
- Collaborative mindset with experience working alongside engineers during handoff and QA.
- Awareness of accessibility fundamentals, including contrast, tap targets, and text size.
Bonus: Experience with offline-first mobile apps, property management or field service tools, cross-device testing, or AI-powered features.
