- Implement and manage secure key handling, signing operations, and slashing protection measures.
- Lead incidents, perform root-cause analyses, and implement preventive changes to avoid recurrence.
- Deploy and maintain infrastructure-as-code (IaC) modules, CI/CD pipelines, and automated tooling for repeatable deployments.
- Manage Kubernetes clusters at scale, including rollouts, HPA tuning, storage optimization, and multi-region capacity planning.
- Monitor and enhance system observability with meaningful SLOs, dashboards, and alerting to reduce noise and respond to critical issues efficiently.
- Support rollup deployments, upgrades, and integrations with data availability endpoints and L1/L2 bridges.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating blockchain validators and distributed ledger infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure management at scale.
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, Helm, or Ansible.
- Programming and scripting skills in Go, Python, and Bash to build operational tools and automation.
- Expertise in key management and cryptography using Vault, HSM, KMS, Web3Signer, or TMKMS/Horcrux.
- Deep understanding of networking, systems tuning, P2P protocols, and performance optimization.
- Experience with rollup technologies such as OP Stack, Arbitrum, or Polygon CDK is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills, ability to lead incidents, and collaborate across globally distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Benefits
- Competitive, region-aligned compensation with performance-based bonuses.
- Remote-first work environment with global, follow-the-sun operational coverage.
- Paid time off, parental leave, and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.
- Health coverage and access to retirement savings plans.
- Professional development opportunities, including workshops, training, and skill-building programs.
- Access to cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure and exposure to distributed systems at scale.
