This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Program Manager in the United States.
This role is designed for a results-driven leader with extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, and digital program execution. You will manage a portfolio of global sourcing and procurement initiatives, focusing on process improvement, standardization, and program alignment. The position involves leading cross-functional teams, developing strategic roadmaps, and facilitating workshops to drive operational excellence. You will analyze metrics, optimize workflows, and ensure procurement projects meet financial and organizational objectives. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide strategies, foster collaboration across departments, and lead continuous improvement efforts. The position is fully remote within the U.S., with occasional domestic and minimal international travel.
Accountabilities
- Oversee and manage the global portfolio of procurement and sourcing projects to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop, implement, and standardize procurement processes to reduce administrative burden and enhance collaboration.
- Lead cross-functional teams and facilitate workshops to promote program adoption and operational excellence.
- Collect and analyze data to create reports, dashboards, and visual tools that monitor project performance and financial impact.
- Support supplier lifecycle management, risk mitigation, and compliance initiatives across the enterprise.
- Drive continuous improvement activities, including Kaizen events, process optimization, and best practice sharing.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across finance, R&D, manufacturing, quality, and project management to achieve organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs Degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- 6β8 years of experience in digital management, program oversight, or data analytics.
- 3β5 years of experience working in lean environments, participating in Kaizen or other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and complex projects.
- Strong analytical skills, organizational capabilities, and effective written and verbal communication.
- Preferred: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, Teams, and familiarity with HTML, CSS, Oracle SQL, or PL/SQL.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
