As a Staff/Principal Visual UI Designer, you will lead the visual design strategy across a global product portfolio, shaping a sophisticated and modern experience that resonates with enterprise clients. This role combines creative vision with technical execution, ensuring that visual and interactive elements meet the highest standards of usability and aesthetics. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including UX designers, product managers, engineers, and marketing—to create unified design systems and cohesive customer journeys. Mentorship and leadership are key aspects of this role, as you will guide and inspire design teams while championing best practices and innovation. The position offers the opportunity to influence the design language at scale, contributing to products that are both visually compelling and functionally exceptional.
Accountabilities
- Lead the visual design for the product portfolio, establishing a modern and sophisticated experience that reflects enterprise expertise.
- Drive the evolution of the design system, ensuring consistency, scalability, and aesthetic refinement across all user interactions.
- Collaborate with UX, product, engineering, and marketing teams to improve design processes and create unified user journeys.
- Develop comprehensive visual patterns, standards, and guidelines to maintain design excellence.
- Mentor and provide guidance to designers and cross-disciplinary teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and creative innovation.
- Utilize advanced data visualization techniques to present complex information clearly and insightfully.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in UI/UX design focusing on visual and interaction design, with at least 3 years leading large initiatives in B2B or enterprise contexts.
- Strong portfolio showcasing sophisticated, elegant, and usable design solutions, demonstrating deep visual design expertise.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and related software.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with experience leading ambitious design projects to success.
- Ability to define and communicate a North Star vision for visual design across disciplines and to executive leadership.
- Experience collaborating with marketing and brand teams and fostering inclusive, cross-functional design processes.
