This role provides an exciting opportunity to lead security advisory, consulting, and operational services for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate will act as a strategic liaison between security teams and clients, ensuring the integrity, compliance, and resilience of managed security services. You will oversee security operations, guide remediation of vulnerabilities, and implement proactive measures across a broad spectrum of infrastructure and applications. The position blends technical expertise with client engagement, requiring strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and leadership in managing security programs. You will influence both internal teams and client stakeholders while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. This role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-impact environment where decisions directly affect client security posture and trust.
Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact between client security teams and internal security operations.
- Lead and coordinate security advisory, consulting, and operational services across multiple domains, including IDS/IPS, firewalls, log management, threat management, and patching.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key client stakeholders, conducting regular meetings to validate value delivery.
- Develop, implement, and enforce security profiles, policies, and procedures for managed infrastructure.
- Identify client cybersecurity needs, budgets, and future initiatives, providing strategic guidance on security improvements.
- Review, approve, and recommend changes to client security configurations and technologies.
- Conduct proactive analysis of potential threats and vulnerabilities, driving remediation and continuous improvement.
- Support incident response, forensic analysis, and audit requests related to client-managed environments.
- Participate in security governance, compliance, and risk management initiatives to maintain regulatory standards.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in security operations or related roles.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage client-facing security services.
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of network, application, and database security principles.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements, including IRS, SSA, FBI, FISMA, and FedRAMP.
- Experience conducting audits, assessments, and remediation to achieve and maintain compliance.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving application and network security issues.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client management skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive cybersecurity programs aligned with organizational and client objectives.
