This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade mobile applications using React Native, focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to translate business requirements into robust technical architectures. The position involves guiding cross-platform mobile development, integrating cloud services, and ensuring best practices in security, performance, and testing. This is a senior, hands-on role that balances strategic architecture with practical implementation while mentoring teams and driving innovation in mobile solutions. Accountabilities:
- Define end-to-end architecture for mobile applications using React Native and Webview integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Design application frameworks, APIs, microservices, and cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead and mentor development teams on best coding practices, performance optimization, and security standards.
- Develop modular, reusable components and manage complex application state across iOS and Android platforms.
- Oversee code reviews, solution design documentation, and technical specifications.
- Work with DevOps to streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend architectural improvements, and drive adoption of enterprise standards.
Requirements
- 15–20 years of software development experience, with 7–10 years in mobile application development.
- Proven experience architecting and delivering large-scale mobile applications using React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React.js, Redux, and React Native CLI.
- Solid understanding of iOS and Android native platforms (Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, Java).
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, WebSockets, and third-party SDK integrations.
- Familiarity with mobile security best practices, performance optimization, and automated testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, Appium, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), serverless architectures, and mobile backend services.
- Knowledge of state management tools (Redux, Redux Toolkit, MobX, Zustand, Context API) and UI/UX workflows (Figma, BuilderX, Locofy).
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with experience leading teams and multi-stakeholder projects.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; cloud or mobile architecture certifications preferred.
