Software Engineer | Python (Remote - US)

This role is designed for a versatile full-stack engineer to develop scalable SaaS solutions that enhance customer workflows and drive business value. You will focus on backend and frontend development, cloud-native architecture, and database optimization while collaborating across engineering teams. The position emphasizes automation, modern development practices, and leveraging AI-driven tools to streamline the software lifecycle. Accountabilities

• Develop and maintain scalable SaaS applications using Python, NestJS (backend), and NextJS (frontend).
• Optimize PostgreSQL databases and microservices architecture for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices and implement new features.
• Integrate AI and agentic tools to improve development processes.
• Support deployments, troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with DevOps and QA teams.
• Design and maintain APIs and backend functionality to support seamless user experiences.
• Stay current with cloud-native technologies, microservices patterns, and emerging development trends.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience building and debugging cloud-based solutions.
• Strong commitment to SOLID principles, clean architecture, and TypeScript.
• Professional experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and migrations.
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.
• Preferred experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), scalable SaaS applications, NodeJS/NestJS, React/NextJS, and third-party APIs.
