Accountabilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of feature-rich, high-quality software for the business platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including growth and product, to build and optimize data-driven features, experiments, and workflows.
- Develop software designs, architecture, and solutions that set the standard for technical excellence.
- Ensure code quality through code reviews, test coverage, and adherence to secure, resilient, and failure-aware coding practices.
- Convert product requirements into functional workflows, data models, and implementation plans.
- Mentor and guide fellow engineers, promoting collaboration, engagement, and best practices within the team.
- Take ownership of timely feature delivery while managing system evolution, configuration, and risk.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience developing complex software products.
- 5+ years of experience programming with Ruby on Rails.
- Strong defensive coding skills and experience designing secure, resilient, and failure-aware systems.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience contributing across the full software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, and deployment.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and mentorship capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead projects with minimal guidance.
