This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior QA Analyst in the United States.
The Senior QA Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of software and data products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze complex datasets, validate software functionality, and support business intelligence initiatives. This role involves creating and executing test cases, generating dashboards and reports, and maintaining technical documentation. You will contribute to process optimization and continuous improvement, ensuring that applications meet requirements and operate smoothly. Working in a federal government environment, you will help drive high-quality solutions that directly impact operational efficiency and decision-making. This is a dynamic, remote-friendly role that blends technical expertise with analytical thinking and collaboration.
Accountabilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain database queries, dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- Perform quality assurance testing, including functional, integration, system, browser, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Analyze system specifications and verify software features meet required standards.
- Support data analytics and business intelligence projects, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and data requirements for internal and external users.
- Facilitate automation and execution of scheduled data processes, including geocoding and data manipulation workflows.
- Troubleshoot application-related issues and provide technical support to end users.
- Participate in meetings, sprint planning, and collaboration with stakeholders to validate requirements and deliverables.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 6 years of relevant technical experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Business Intelligence.
- Proficient in SQL and relational databases such as Oracle or MS SQL.
- Familiarity with programming languages, testing tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, Python).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI; familiarity with STATA and geocoding is a plus.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage time effectively, and work collaboratively in a remote environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a Public Trust Background Clearance.
