This role offers an exciting opportunity to design and deliver impactful data visualization solutions that support major federal programs. As a Junior Data Visualization Developer, you will transform complex data into clear, interactive dashboards that inform high-level decisions and improve operational insight. You’ll collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business leaders to ensure that data-driven insights are visually compelling, accurate, and actionable. The role combines creativity with technical precision, offering exposure to large-scale data initiatives within a dynamic and mission-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

• Develop intuitive dashboards and data visualization tools using Microsoft Power BI or similar platforms.
• Create user-friendly interfaces and reporting solutions to visualize administrative and program data.
• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot dashboards, ensuring accuracy and relevance of displayed data.
• Support data modeling, database design, and cleansing processes for analytics and reporting.
• Partner with internal teams to understand business requirements and translate them into visual insights.
• Produce documentation, process guides, and visual data flow maps to support dashboard management.
• Contribute to ad hoc analyses and visualization projects supporting business or program goals.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience building dashboards in Microsoft Power BI or equivalent tools.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and BI best practices.
• Experience modeling and cleansing data for reporting purposes.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a government background check.
• Preferred: Master’s degree, experience with SAS or other statistical tools, and familiarity with health or public data.
