This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Developer / React Native & iOS in Latin America.
As a Senior Mobile Developer, you will take a pivotal role in transforming a large-scale native iOS application into a modern, high-performance React Native solution. You will lead architectural decisions, mentor team members, and ensure a seamless cross-platform mobile experience. Working closely with product, design, and QA teams, you will deliver innovative features that impact millions of users while optimizing performance, scalability, and maintainability. This role offers a fully remote environment, enabling autonomy, collaboration, and exposure to AI-driven and premium mobile products. You will also have the chance to influence the evolution of a complex mobile ecosystem while building expertise in both React Native and native iOS development.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the migration of native iOS (Swift/SwiftUI) applications to React Native, ensuring high performance and maintainable code.
- Architect and implement cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with iOS engineers on hybrid solutions for native modules and SDK integration.
- Integrate RESTful APIs and GraphQL into mobile workflows with clean, scalable code.
- Implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines for mobile build processes.
- Optimize app performance, memory management, and rendering across iOS and Android platforms.
- Support app deployment and updates on App Store and Google Play, including OTA updates.
- Mentor teammates and promote best practices in cross-platform development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional mobile development experience.
- 3+ years in React Native with production apps in active use.
- 2+ years in iOS development (Swift/SwiftUI) with solid native fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining bridged native modules in React Native.
- Proven ability to lead migration projects or design greenfield React Native architectures.
- Strong understanding of mobile architecture patterns (Clean Architecture, MVVM, modular design).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
- Solid background in testing frameworks (Jest, Detox, React Native Testing Library, XCTest).
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and automating mobile build processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Fluent in English for technical discussions and daily communication.

- Prior experience in large-scale native-to-RN migrations.
- Familiarity with AI-powered features, personalization, or mobile analytics.
