This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Manager, Infrastructure Security Engineering – DGX Cloud in the United States.
This role provides a unique opportunity to lead and shape the security posture of a cutting-edge cloud infrastructure environment. You will be responsible for defining and implementing security strategies, driving adoption of best practices, and ensuring compliance across multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures. As a leader, you will manage a team of skilled engineers, mentor talent, and collaborate cross-functionally with security, cloud, and infrastructure teams. This position requires balancing technical depth with strategic oversight, fostering a culture of security-first engineering, and enabling rapid innovation while maintaining world-class security standards. The successful candidate will influence both operational teams and executive stakeholders, ensuring a resilient and secure infrastructure environment.
Accountabilities:
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of infrastructure security engineers.
- Define and implement security controls across compute, storage, and networking systems in multi-cloud and hybrid environments.
- Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and remediation strategies to protect critical infrastructure.
- Drive the deployment, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of core infrastructure security technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cloud engineering, security, and compliance, to align security practices with business priorities.
- Develop KPIs and reporting mechanisms to monitor security posture, compliance, and operational effectiveness.
- Advocate and embed security-first principles, automation, and “security by design” across workflows.
- Represent the infrastructure security function in executive reviews and strategic planning discussions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in infrastructure security engineering, with a minimum of 5 years in people management.
- Proven experience building and leading teams securing large-scale, distributed, or multi-cloud environments.
- Strong technical foundation in infrastructure security, including IAM, EDR/XDR, CNAPP, CSPM, vulnerability management, incident response, and zero trust principles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence engineers and executives alike.
- Ability to partner effectively across organizational boundaries, including security, cloud engineering, infrastructure, and compliance teams.
Preferred / Standout Qualifications:
- Experience securing AI or HPC infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in CSP-native security controls and multi-cloud governance.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC2, ISO27001, FedRAMP, and mapping them to infrastructure controls.
- Contributions to open-source security projects are a plus.
