Senior Backend Developer - Golang

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with deep expertise in Go (Golang) to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, high-performance services, APIs, and data models that power modern applications. You will work with serverless architectures, event-driven systems, and cloud infrastructure while integrating DevOps practices to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines. Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend services using Go (Golang).
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Implement and maintain RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and data models.
• Work with serverless and event-driven architectures to optimize backend workflows.
• Manage infrastructure through Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Integrate DevOps practices and ensure smooth CI/CD processes.
• Utilize containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deployment.
• Maintain clean, efficient code and contribute to technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Go (Golang) and working knowledge of JavaScript (Node.js).
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and data management.
• Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Nice-to-have: Hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud-native applications on AWS, contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
