This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer - DGX Cloud in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to shape and maintain the security of large-scale cloud and on-premise infrastructures. The Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer will design, implement, and manage security solutions that protect critical computing, storage, and networking systems while enabling advanced workload scalability. You will work across multi-cloud environments, applying security best practices and automation to ensure network integrity and compliance. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to perform audits, vulnerability management, and threat mitigation while maintaining operational reliability. Candidates will play a key role in securing systems that support cutting-edge AI, HPC, and enterprise applications.
Accountabilities:
- Implement, manage, and troubleshoot firewalls and other security tools in on-premise and cloud environments.
- Conduct security audits, threat modeling, and risk assessments for network infrastructures.
- Participate in ACL approvals and security reviews across projects and teams.
- Document security standards, guidelines, and operational procedures for cloud and on-prem deployments.
- Enhance security features to improve network visibility, monitoring, and intelligence.
- Maintain regular vulnerability patching, coordinate with vendors, and proactively eliminate potential threat vectors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure security engineering across multi-cloud and on-prem environments.
- Strong expertise in compute, storage, and networking security operations.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting for automation, monitoring, and tooling (Python, Go, or Shell).
- Practical experience with Linux environments.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native security principles, including IAM, encryption, workload isolation, and Zero Trust.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including central security and cloud platform teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise in OCI, GCP, AWS, and Azure cybersecurity practices.
- Familiarity with Mellanox/Cumulus OS or similar network operating systems.
- Experience designing and securing large-scale networks.
- Hands-on experience with containerization, microservices, and modern cloud-native technologies.
- Contributions to open-source security tools or frameworks.
