This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (Frontend- or Backend-Focused) in the European Union.
As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will play a key role in shaping and expanding the digital backbone of high-impact platforms, combining technical expertise with user-centric design. You will work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver scalable, performant, and intuitive software solutions. This role offers significant ownership and influence across the stack—from APIs and backend services to frontend components—while contributing to meaningful projects in an innovative, mission-driven environment. Collaboration, mentorship, and architectural input are central to this position, allowing you to guide technical direction and elevate team capabilities. The role supports flexible, remote work within CET time zones, providing opportunities for growth, creativity, and direct impact.
Accountabilities
- Develop scalable, high-quality features across the frontend and backend of MRV+ and carbon marketplace platforms.
- Translate complex workflows and data requirements into clean APIs, backend logic, and intuitive UI components.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver reliable software to production.
- Participate in architectural discussions, system design, and technical decision-making.
- Support DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and post-deployment improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and coordinate mid- to large-scale initiatives.
- Contribute across the tech stack as needed to ensure end-to-end solution quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building production-ready web applications across frontend and backend.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, collaborative development workflows, and version control (Git, code reviews).
- High degree of autonomy, creativity, and intrinsic motivation.
- Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus.
- Availability to work within CET time zone and occasional travel.
Frontend-focused requirements:
- Expertise in React or similar frameworks, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Comfortable integrating with backend services built in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
Backend-focused requirements:
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
- Comfortable integrating with frontend frameworks like React and building user-facing components when needed.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with Docker, Gradle, Kubernetes, Azure, PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD workflows, observability, and testing best practices.
