This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer (Frontend- or Backend-Focused) in the European Union.
This role offers the chance to contribute to innovative digital solutions in the climate tech sector. You will work across the full software stack, developing both user-facing features and backend systems that support complex workflows. Collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and other developers, you will shape scalable and performant solutions with real-world impact. Accountabilities
- Develop scalable and high-performance features for MRV+ (Measurement, Reporting, Verification) and carbon marketplace platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver reliable and maintainable software.
- Translate complex requirements into clean, modular code across frontend and backend systems.
- Lead architectural discussions and support system design decisions.
- Participate in DevOps practices, CI/CD workflows, and post-deployment improvements.
- Mentor junior developers and coordinate mid- to large-scale development initiatives.
- Ensure that software solutions are user-centric, accessible, and responsive, delivering an exceptional user experience.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience building production-ready web applications across frontend and backend.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, development workflows (Git, code reviews), and collaborative development practices.
- High degree of autonomy, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in English; German is a plus.
- Willingness to work in CET time zone with occasional travel.
- For frontend focus: expertise in React (or similar frameworks), HTML/CSS, modern JavaScript/TypeScript, and working knowledge of backend technologies like Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
- For backend focus: expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, and working knowledge of frontend technologies like React, HTML/CSS, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Bonus skills: Docker, Gradle, Kubernetes, Azure, PostgreSQL, cloud-native architecture, CI/CD workflows, observability, monitoring, and testing culture.
