AI Agent Software Engineer (Remote - US)

This role is ideal for a highly skilled software engineer with a passion for artificial intelligence and autonomous systems. You will design, build, and deploy AI agents capable of performing sophisticated security tasks, automating workflows, and evolving through machine learning. Accountabilities:

• Design and develop autonomous AI agents that can perform reconnaissance, vulnerability identification, and advanced security tasks.
• Build scalable services capable of operating 24/7 across thousands of targets, transforming manual workflows into intelligent automation pipelines.
• Integrate AI agents with cloud platforms and enterprise-grade infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and performance at scale.
• Experiment with novel AI/ML approaches, prototype advanced techniques, and implement feedback loops for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with penetration testers, AI specialists, and security researchers to refine agent strategies and solve technical challenges.
• Implement safety, ethical, and compliance measures for responsible AI deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong record of shipping production systems.
• Hands-on expertise with AI/ML technologies, including LLMs and autonomous agent frameworks (LangChain, AutoGPT, CrewAI, or similar).
• Advanced programming skills in Python and Golang; experience with APIs, database design, and modern frontend frameworks (React/TypeScript preferred).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to iterate rapidly in a dynamic environment.
• Security experience is a plus, including penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, or ethical hacking.
• Bonus experience with multi-agent systems, reinforcement learning, RAG pipelines, vector databases, or AI safety/alignment practices.
• Portfolio of relevant projects or open-source contributions demonstrating creativity and technical excellence.
