This role leads a high-impact data science team focused on driving measurable growth across acquisition, engagement, and retention initiatives. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams—including marketing, product, and analytics—to define metrics, develop experimentation frameworks, and ensure business decisions are data-driven. As a senior manager, you will mentor and grow a team of data scientists, establish analytical standards, and influence executive decision-making with actionable insights. The position combines strategic leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and a strong focus on driving growth in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Accountabilities
- Lead the analytical vision across growth and optimization initiatives, ensuring data, experimentation, and measurement rigor guide decision-making.
- Define and evolve metrics, methodologies, and experimentation frameworks for acquisition, engagement, and retention programs.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Business Analytics, and Product teams to support corporate reporting, forecasting, and planning.
- Partner with engineers and analysts to enhance marketing analytics infrastructure, including predictive models and data pipelines.
- Mentor, coach, and inspire a team of marketing data scientists, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and innovation.
- Influence senior leadership by credibly representing both data science and business perspectives.
- Drive continual improvement of analytics processes and organizational culture in a high-paced growth environment.
Requirements
- 7+ years of analytics experience, including 3+ years in management or team leadership.
- Proven track record of driving business impact through analytics in growth, performance, or ROI-focused marketing programs.
- Strong technical and analytical skills, with hands-on experience in experimentation, attribution, lift tests, and marketing measurement techniques.
- Experience managing and prioritizing high-impact analytics work while empowering a team of analysts.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Experience with marketing analytics infrastructure, data pipelines, and predictive modeling is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, or equivalent experience; advanced degrees are a plus.
