This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Cyber Program Analyst in the United States.
In this role, you will play a key part in driving cybersecurity initiatives that support critical federal, intelligence, and defense missions. Acting as a trusted advisor, you’ll design, implement, and maintain secure systems and networks aligned with Zero Trust security principles. This position offers the opportunity to work across enterprise-scale projects, ensuring robust protection against evolving cyber threats. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, lead strategic security designs, and provide expert guidance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Zero Trust security solutions across large-scale environments.
- Ensure compliance with DoD security frameworks and the Zero Trust Execution Roadmap.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
- Develop and deploy secure network solutions to defend against advanced persistent threats.
- Analyze existing security systems, identifying vulnerabilities and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and network teams to embed security into system architecture.
- Present technical briefings and recommendations to leadership and clients.
- Assess and align technologies to meet evolving security, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
- Active SECRET clearance required.
- In-depth understanding of DoD Zero Trust requirements and related cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience implementing and managing tools such as EDR, UEM/MDM, ICAM, SIEM/SOAR, and network scanning/automation tools (Tenable, Remedy, Ansible, etc.).
- Strong background in securing Linux, Windows, and UNIX systems, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and intrusion detection.
- Proficiency in encryption methodologies, ethical hacking, and vulnerability assessment.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
- Up-to-date awareness of cybersecurity trends and emerging threats.
- Leadership abilities with strong prioritization and decision-making skills in dynamic environments.
- Experience supporting federal or defense sector clients preferred.
