This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior AEM Frontend Developer in India.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-level web applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and modern front-end technologies. You will collaborate closely with middleware teams, designers, and content managers to deliver seamless, responsive, and engaging digital experiences to a large and diverse audience. The role involves full lifecycle development, from conceptualizing features to coding, testing, and deploying, while adhering to best practices and coding standards. You will also mentor junior developers, contribute to the technical roadmap, and continuously improve performance, accessibility, and maintainability. This position provides the opportunity to work on high-traffic websites, tackle complex front-end challenges, and implement innovative solutions in a dynamic, agile environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement AEM-based enterprise content solutions and components for high-traffic websites.
- Translate designs into pixel-perfect, responsive front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
- Optimize performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure efficient, maintainable AEM solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers, SEO specialists, and content managers, to ensure integrated and consistent user experiences.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and mentor team members to maintain quality and drive knowledge sharing.
- Implement and maintain front-end features using React, Angular, Vue.js, and leverage REST APIs or GraphQL as needed.
- Participate in agile development cycles, suggesting improvements, and adopting best practices for front-end development.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a front-end developer, preferably with AEM experience; back-end knowledge is a plus.
- Strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) implementations and client libraries.
- Proficient in HTML, JavaScript (ES6+), CSS, TypeScript, LESS/SASS, responsive design, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of website performance optimization, troubleshooting, and accessibility best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
