React Native Engineer (Remote - US)

As a React Native Engineer, you will design and implement high-quality mobile experiences that are intuitive, performant, and visually engaging. Your focus will be on creating smooth UI animations and interactive features that delight users while supporting complex financial workflows. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to turn interaction concepts into production-ready features. The role offers ownership of your work from concept to launch, an opportunity to optimize performance across iOS and Android devices, and a chance to contribute to a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Accountabilities

• Build and ship animation-rich features that enhance usability and engagement across mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to implement interaction and motion design concepts.
• Optimize animations and interactions for performance, ensuring smooth experiences across devices.
• Follow best practices in code quality, automated testing, and continuous delivery within a React Native stack.
• Own projects end-to-end, from design through implementation and deployment, maintaining accountability and transparency.
• Contribute to mobile architecture and code reviews, promoting maintainable and scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and deploying iOS and Android applications using React Native.
• Strong expertise in UI animations and interaction design (e.g., React Native Reanimated, Gesture Handler, Lottie, or native animation APIs).
• Solid understanding of mobile performance optimization, including frame rates, rendering, and device constraints.
• Passion for quality, craftsmanship, and teamwork, with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a track record of delivering complex projects successfully.
• Bonus: experience with financial or consumer fintech applications.
