This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure & Developer Productivity (GCP) in the United States and Canada.
As a Senior Software Engineer in Infrastructure & Developer Productivity, you will play a pivotal role in enabling engineering teams to build, test, and deploy robotics software faster, more reliably, and at scale. You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, release management tooling, automated dashboards, and data pipelines that support QA, mapping, and machine learning workflows. A key focus of this role is integrating and evaluating GenAI tools to accelerate developer productivity while ensuring robust infrastructure and operational excellence. You will collaborate across teams to reduce manual toil, enhance developer experience, and drive the adoption of best practices, directly impacting the performance and reliability of autonomous robotic systems. This role offers a highly cross-functional, high-impact environment where technical leadership and innovation are highly valued.
Accountabilities
- Design, implement, and maintain release management and CI/CD orchestration tools to streamline software delivery pipelines.
- Build automated KPI dashboards, regression benchmarks, and monitoring systems to track engineering performance and system reliability.
- Develop internal tools to enhance developer productivity, onboarding, testing, and collaboration.
- Evaluate, integrate, and scale GenAI-powered tools to improve automation and developer experience across teams.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt infrastructure best practices and reduce manual toil.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software infrastructure, developer productivity, or DevOps engineering.
- Strong programming skills in Python and at least one systems-level language (C++, Rust, etc.).
- Expertise with CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Argo) and build systems (Bazel preferred).
- Proficiency with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, for scaling builds, tests, and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with metrics and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus) to ensure observability and actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- Bonus experience: embedded software, robotics workflows, GenAI integration, release engineering, or developer onboarding tooling.
