QA Associate/Analyst 3 (Remote - US)

This role offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute to the quality assurance of complex software applications in a fully remote environment. The QA Associate/Analyst 3 will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting testing activities across multiple platforms, ensuring software reliability and performance. You will work closely with development teams and stakeholders to analyze requirements, create automated and manual test cases, and perform data validation. The role requires a mix of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaboration, supporting the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment. It’s ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about software quality, automation, and performance testing in a fast-paced and evolving technical environment.

Accountabilities

• Analyze user requirements, design documents, and system specifications to develop detailed test cases.
• Execute automated and manual functional and regression tests on web applications, HTML, PDF, and Excel reports.
• Perform SQL queries to manipulate and validate data.
• Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders to define testing strategies, implement test automation, and communicate results clearly.
• Conduct performance and accessibility testing using tools such as WAPT Pro and JMeter.
• Document all test cases, results, issues, and testing summaries in a structured and comprehensive manner.
• Support the implementation and deployment of applications within the broader organizational IT ecosystem.

Requirements

• Strong experience testing complex web applications across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and database testing.
• Hands-on experience with API testing, including JSON, XML, SOAP, and REST.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (WAPT Pro, JMeter, or similar).
• Experience with test management tools such as Zephyr Scale and issue tracking tools like JIRA is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment and communicate testing results clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
