As a Program Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in organizing, managing, and enhancing programs that support student engagement and leadership development. You will oversee program operations, coordinate events, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure initiatives run smoothly and achieve measurable impact. This role requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage budgets, logistics, and vendor relationships effectively. You will mentor student leaders, facilitate collaboration across departments, and contribute to continuous improvement of program offerings. Accountabilities:

  • Develop work plans and coordinate activities to achieve program goals, monitoring progress and outcomes.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports, publications, newsletters, or other program-related materials.
  • Plan, organize, and manage conferences, workshops, and other program events, including logistics, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Provide guidance, mentoring, and developmental advising to student leaders and participants.
  • Serve as a liaison across departments to foster collaboration, communication, and program enhancement.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness, maintain records, and support reporting and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Represent programs at meetings and events, supervise interns, volunteers, or project staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field relevant to program management or student services.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in program coordination, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
  • Experience managing budgets and coordinating logistics for events or programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and mentoring skills to support student engagement.
  • Ability to evaluate program effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Comfortable working in-person with potential remote flexibility, depending on departmental needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
