We are seeking a talented Cloud Developer to join a dynamic, fully remote team focused on building and maintaining scalable cloud-based platforms and SaaS solutions. This role involves developing cloud-native APIs, managing containerized applications, and implementing automation pipelines to support enterprise-grade deployments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure, security, and architecture to ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance of cloud services. The position offers hands-on exposure to modern cloud technologies, Kubernetes orchestration, and serverless architectures, providing a stimulating environment for professional growth while directly contributing to impactful healthcare technology solutions.
Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native RESTful APIs using Python, Go, and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Build and manage Docker container images, ensuring best practices for security, efficiency, and deployment.
- Author, maintain, and version Helm charts for Kubernetes/OpenShift deployments, including upgrades and rollback procedures.
- Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, monitoring, and rollback.
- Manage in-cluster dependencies such as PostgreSQL, Kafka, Grafana, and Elasticsearch using Helm or Operators.
- Monitor service performance, reliability, and scaling behavior; implement caching, concurrency, and auto-scaling solutions.
- Collaborate with platform, security, and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance, logging, monitoring, and audit standards.
- Troubleshoot production and staging issues, provide root cause analysis, and propose corrective measures.
- Maintain detailed documentation for architecture, deployment procedures, and cloud tools usage.
- Ensure accurate reporting of project hours, billable work, and adherence to privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in cloud development or infrastructure engineering.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience designing and building SaaS applications and multi-cloud solutions.
- Strong experience with DevOps tooling (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps) and cloud SDKs/APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP). Boto3 and AWS CDK preferred.
- Solid skills in Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript for API development (REST or GraphQL).
- Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and Helm chart/Operator authoring.
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging/tracing tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Elasticsearch.
- Knowledge of cloud storage, secrets, security, and GitOps principles; experience with Terraform preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
