The LMS Administrator / Training Designer will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a highly skilled workforce through the creation and management of engaging educational programs. This position involves designing, delivering, and optimizing training content for both classroom and e-learning platforms, while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards. The role requires collaboration with subject matter experts, leadership, and employees to identify learning needs and translate them into effective, impactful learning experiences. Accountabilities
- Assess training needs and identify gaps based on staff requirements, organizational goals, and regulatory standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain instructional materials, courses, and education programs using authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Traincaster.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and timely completion of learning projects.
- Oversee the Learning Management System (LMS), maintaining directories of programs and trainers for staff and leadership reference.
- Coordinate delivery of training sessions, both in-person and online, and develop effective learning environments to achieve desired outcomes.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through reporting tools, staff feedback, and leadership input.
- Support new employee orientation, mandatory annual education, leadership development, and other training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential education records, providing access for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Prepare and distribute the organizational training calendar, and travel to various locations as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience developing training content for both classroom and electronic formats.
- Knowledge of medical and legal principles related to donor evaluation and authorization is preferred.
- Experience with instructional design, learning management systems, and educational authoring tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, anticipate learning needs, and work collaboratively with teams.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
