This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Analyst - Remote (Personal Lines Experience Required) in the United States.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the development and management of personal lines insurance products. As a Product Analyst, you will work in a collaborative, data-driven environment to ensure products are competitive, profitable, and compliant. You will support product development initiatives, analyze performance metrics, and assist with the implementation of new programs. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to cross-functional teams. You will be involved in reviewing rate levels, underwriting performance, and system outputs, while also contributing to process improvements and product innovation. Remote work flexibility allows you to deliver results while maintaining work-life balance.
Accountabilities:
- Analyze rate levels, underwriting performance, and financial results to ensure product profitability.
- Test new and revised insurance products, including rates, rules, forms, and system outputs.
- Calculate impacts of proposed rate and coverage changes to support decision-making.
- Assist with state insurance department inquiries and filing reviews for program revisions.
- Support Product Managers with data analysis, compliance review, and product implementation activities.
- Contribute to the development of new product and system initiatives.
- Perform additional duties to support department and corporate objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Personal Lines insurance underwriting, product management, program filings, or compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent insurance product development experience).
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical ability.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Experience implementing new insurance programs preferred, required for senior-level consideration.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
- Occasional travel to offices or agency partners may be required.
- Nice-to-have: Surplus Lines property experience, professional designations such as CPCU or CIC.
