This role provides a high-impact opportunity to design and implement cloud-based solutions that transform customer contact centers and improve business outcomes. You will work closely with clients to assess technology needs, lead architectural discussions, and provide best-practice guidance on cloud adoption, specifically leveraging Amazon Connect and other AWS services. The ideal candidate will translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure solutions while mentoring technical teams and ensuring successful project delivery. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly. You will also engage in customer training, documentation, and strategic discussions to drive the adoption of AWS cloud solutions across the organization.
Accountabilities
- Conduct technology assessments and audits to identify business and ROI-driven opportunities for migrating to cloud-based contact center solutions.
- Lead discovery sessions with clients, facilitating process reviews, gathering requirements, and building business cases for projects.
- Design and implement AWS-based contact center solutions, integrating with WFM, CRM, and other enterprise systems.
- Mentor technical teams and provide guidance to ensure solutions are delivered on time, on budget, and to required quality standards.
- Translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage project communications and expectations.
- Deliver end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support for implemented solutions.
- Drive best-practice design principles into all aspects of solution architecture and project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, specifically with Amazon Connect solutions.
- 3+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting roles in cloud solutions.
- At least one AWS certification; AWS Solutions Architect certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, cloud architecture, networking, and database design.
- Experience with integrations across WFM, CRM, and contact center platforms.
- Proficiency with CloudFormation, Lambda, Lex, Contact Flow Design, and call routing strategies.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to varied audiences.
