As a Jr DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining cloud infrastructure, supporting CI/CD pipelines, and enabling agile software delivery across development and production environments. You’ll collaborate with engineers to optimize systems, deploy cloud-native solutions, and ensure security and cost efficiency. Accountabilities:
- Maintain and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters.
- Manage CI/CD processes to streamline deployment and ensure reliability.
- Create and manage environments for development, staging, UAT, and production.
- Identify opportunities to implement cloud-native solutions that improve team efficiency and scalability.
- Collaborate with peers to design and architect effective cloud-based implementations.
- Enhance system reliability by setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Conduct code reviews, testing, and software design improvements to ensure long-lasting solutions.
- Support engineering growth by enabling best practices in DevOps and cloud management.
Requirements
- Located in India, with availability to join within 45 days.
- 1–2 years of experience managing AWS infrastructure in agile environments.
- 2+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters, preferably Amazon EKS.
- Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning.
- Strong understanding of AWS services (EC2, EKS, ECS, VPC, RDS, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, WAF, CloudWatch, SQS, KMS, Step Functions).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and server configurations (Nginx, Apache).
- Knowledge of microservices, workflow orchestration, and SDLC best practices.
- Familiarity with Redis, caching, and queueing technologies.
- Experience in monitoring and logging systems (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, Sentry, Datadog).
- Practical knowledge of cloud security best practices and cost optimization strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
