As a Fullstack Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in building and enhancing scalable SaaS solutions that drive value for a growing customer base. You will work across backend and frontend systems, collaborating closely with engineers, product teams, and DevOps to deliver reliable, high-performance applications. This role offers the opportunity to shape workflows, optimize database and microservice architectures, and leverage AI-driven development tools. Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Design, implement, and maintain backend services using NestJS and frontend applications using NextJS.
- Optimize PostgreSQL databases, microservices, and API performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to apply SDLC best practices and implement new features.
- Utilize AI and agentic tools to enhance development processes.
- Support deployment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with DevOps and QA teams.
- Build and maintain scalable APIs and backend functionality for customer workflows.
- Stay current with cloud-native technologies and microservices patterns to ensure long-term system reliability.
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional experience building and debugging cloud-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, JavaScript, and SOLID principles for clean architecture.
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including query optimization and migrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent teamwork, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Preferred location: Austin, Texas.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with SaaS applications and scalable software solutions.
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React or NextJS.
