Forecasting Data Scientist (Remote - India)

As a Forecasting Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in transforming business data into actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization. You will apply advanced analytical techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis, to identify trends, generate forecasts, and guide strategic planning. Collaborating closely with stakeholders, you will translate complex data into clear recommendations, support business objectives, and enable data-driven decision-making. Accountabilities

• Analyze and interpret business data using statistical, mathematical, and machine learning techniques.

• Integrate and manage data from internal and external sources for analysis purposes.

Requirements

• Strong quantitative skills with experience in statistics, linear algebra, and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL for data processing and analysis.
• Experience with machine learning algorithms, including decision trees, clustering, and neural networks.
• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques, regression, distribution properties, and hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with multiple programming languages (Java, JavaScript, C, C++ is a plus).
• Experience with data visualization tools and the ability to present insights to business stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex analytical concepts.
