The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, hands-on design skills, and problem-solving abilities to contribute to innovative solutions in power systems and related industries. Your work will have a direct impact on system performance, product reliability, and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop requirements and technical specifications for new and existing products in collaboration with engineering and product management.
  • Design, prototype, and test digital hardware, including high-speed ADCs/DACs, FPGAs, and microprocessors.
  • Maintain legacy hardware and documentation, managing engineering change processes and resolving component obsolescence issues.
  • Produce and maintain schematics, BOMs, ECNs, and other engineering documentation using tools like Altium.
  • Support board layout, prototype testing, manufacturing, and system testing to ensure quality and performance.
  • Utilize lab tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and protocol analyzers for hardware diagnostics.
  • Develop and debug VHDL for FPGA designs and use model-based design tools for automated HDL code generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on design experience with high-speed ADCs/DACs, FPGAs, and microprocessors, including integration and optimization.
  • 3+ years of VHDL development experience in signal processing, timing closure, or communication systems.
  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, noise mitigation, and high-speed PCB layout principles.
  • Familiarity with hardware/software interface collaboration and testing standards (UL, CE, IEC, IEEE).
  • Knowledge of software design principles to complement hardware development.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation with paid holidays and paid time off.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
  • 401(k) plan with company match, FSAs, and HSA contributions.
  • Tuition reimbursement and employee assistance programs.
