This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a DevOps Architect in India.
This role is ideal for an experienced DevOps professional who will lead the architecture, implementation, and optimization of DevOps practices across cloud and on-premise environments. You will design scalable CI/CD pipelines, manage cloud resources, and drive automation to improve deployment efficiency and reliability. Working in a dynamic, collaborative setting, you will guide advisory sessions, mentor teams, and ensure that solutions meet high standards of quality, security, and performance. The role involves close interaction with global clients and teams, requiring flexibility to coordinate with US time zones while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of DevOps solutions for multiple platforms including JavaScript, Java, and .NET codebases.
- Architect and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes (EKS), Spinnaker, JenkinsX, and FluxCD.
- Manage cloud resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP, focusing on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.
- Ensure strict approval processes for deployments across Dev, Staging, and Production environments.
- Conduct advisory and roadmapping sessions for clients to enhance DevOps practices and adoption.
- Implement automated provisioning, deployment scripts, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize cloud and DevOps workflows.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in DevOps and DevSecOps with proven implementation success.
- Proficiency in CI/CD technologies, container orchestration, log streaming/analysis, and source/artifact management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, along with Azure DevOps.
- Skilled in scripting languages (Shell) and operating systems including Linux and Windows.
- Understanding of deployment methodologies like Blue-Green and Canary deployments.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills to lead advisory sessions and interact with global stakeholders.
- Previous consulting experience in deploying SaaS or packaged solutions is a plus.
