  • Debug, test, and optimize components within large-scale Linux-based environments.
  • Review and contribute to peer code, ensuring high engineering standards across the project.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in design discussions to guide technical decisions.
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure smooth integration of toolchains across different platforms.
  • Engage in occasional global travel (2–4 weeks per year) for internal events, collaboration sprints, or conferences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with GCC or LLVM, preferably in cloud-native or Linux environments.
  • Strong background in C and C++ development, with deep knowledge of compilers, runtimes, and toolchains.
  • Experience in packaging software for Debian or Ubuntu distributions.
  • Familiarity with Linux system internals and open-source development practices.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent technical field (or a strong professional track record).
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • A passion for open-source technology, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Willingness to travel internationally twice a year for team gatherings or company events.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation based on experience, performance, and location.
  • Annual performance-based bonus or commission structure.
  • Remote-first work environment, with opportunities for global travel and in-person team sprints.
  • Learning and development budget of USD $2,000 per year.
  • Comprehensive health and wellness benefits, including Employee Assistance Programs.
  • Generous holiday allowance, parental leave, and recognition rewards.
  • Travel perks such as Priority Pass and upgrade options for long-haul events.
