As a Software Engineering Manager for Creator Experience, you will lead a talented team of engineers in building innovative, AI-powered content tools that enhance the workflow of creators and developers. You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to define strategy, set priorities, and deliver impactful solutions. The role combines hands-on technical leadership with team development, allowing you to influence both the engineering culture and the product roadmap. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment across Europe, shaping tools that integrate AI into content operations and web development. Your contributions will directly impact user experience, team efficiency, and product innovation on a global scale.
Accountabilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, supporting professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define and execute the roadmap and strategy for Creator Experience products.
- Prioritize and organize engineering work to maximize impact and efficiency.
- Oversee the development of market-leading visual editing experiences, AI-powered workflows, and intuitive tooling for creators.
- Ensure architectural best practices, maintain code quality, and support scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and communication across engineering, product, and design teams.
- Influence the broader product and engineering strategy by providing insights, feedback, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering and 1+ years in engineering leadership or management.
- Strong organizational, project management, and planning skills.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web fundamentals.
- Experience building or managing AI-powered applications, including working with LLM APIs, evaluation pipelines, and performance metrics.
- Background in product/SaaS companies with an understanding of software architecture and design considerations.
- Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills, open to giving and receiving feedback.
- Curious, creative problem-solver with a focus on improving developer and user experience.
- Familiarity with remote work environments and cross-cultural collaboration.
