This senior role offers an opportunity to shape and enhance cybersecurity and privacy operations within a complex, mission-critical environment. The Cyber Program Maturity Analyst Sr Principal will assess current processes, implement improvements, and optimize operations to strengthen organizational security posture. Working closely with cross-functional teams, this role drives efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation across cybersecurity and privacy initiatives. It emphasizes strategic thinking, hands-on delivery, and the ability to translate technical complexity into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. The position allows for remote work while making a measurable impact on the effectiveness of critical security and privacy programs.
Accountabilities:
- Assess and enhance the maturity of cybersecurity and privacy programs to strengthen overall information security posture.
- Streamline procedures and workflows, improving efficiency, compliance, and response times.
- Oversee privacy compliance documentation reviews (PTAs, PIAs, SORNs, PARs) to ensure timely adherence to regulations.
- Manage projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, maintaining acceptable risk levels.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and a high level of satisfaction with project outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance on optimizing operations, resource utilization, and cybersecurity initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in information security, privacy, or related roles.
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements and optimizing operational workflows.
- Prior experience supporting federal civilian agencies preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strategic thinker with adaptability and hands-on project delivery oversight.
- Desired: Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
