Job Description:
Join Collectwise.com, a fast-growing Y Combinator-backed AI startup, as a Forward Deployed Engineer. You will lead end-to-end customer implementations, building critical integrations and technical systems that bring clients into production. This is a high-impact role blending engineering with customer engagement, driving our mission to automate the $35B debt collection market with generative AI as we scale toward $10M ARR.

What you will do:

• Build and maintain custom integrations with diverse client systems to ensure seamless data flow and operational efficiency.

• Configure and productionize advanced AI agents for each client, optimizing prompts, workflows, and data transfers for top performance.

• Translate ambiguous customer requirements into clear technical specifications and rapidly ship robust, testable solutions using modern backend frameworks.

The ideal candidate:

• Proficient in Node.js, React.js, AWS, SQL, and experienced with LLMs (e.g., GPT-5) in production.

• Demonstrated ability to build products from scratch in an early-stage startup, personal venture, or major project.

• Strong communication skills, exceptional work ethic, and versatility across engineering disciplines, with an interest in voice AI.
