However, its roots stretch back much further, with parent company Sakata INX Corporation founded in Osaka, Japan, in 1896. This rich heritage laid the groundwork for what would become a global force in the ink and coatings industry. From its inception, INX International was driven by a commitment to providing the best technology and expertise for its customers' diverse applications. Throughout the 1990s and into the new millennium, INX International continued its trajectory of growth and innovation. Key milestones included the opening of new plants across the United States, such as Edwardsville, Kansas, and Santa Fe Springs, California, alongside significant expansions of existing facilities like the Appleton plant and the establishment of a state-of-the-art R&D facility in 1996. This period was characterized by a relentless focus on research and development, enabling the company to offer a comprehensive portfolio of ink and coating solutions for commercial, packaging, and the burgeoning digital print sectors. The company's dedication to understanding customer needs and delivering tailored chemical solutions became a hallmark of its operations, solidifying its position as a trusted partner in the printing industry.
