Senior Integration Developer

We are looking for a Senior Integration Developer to join a high-impact project for one of our clients based in Sweden. This is a fully remote opportunity with immediate start, ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys building real-time, cloud-native integrations across distributed platforms. You will design and implement a microservice that bridges a customer engagement platform with an AI system, working within a modern infrastructure built on AWS, Kubernetes, and Azure-hosted services.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Develop and deploy a microservice in Kubernetes (AWS) to act as a shim layer between a customer experience platform and an AI service.
• Implement logic to manage real-time communication, event routing, and external service integration.
• Design and expose secure APIs, ensure low-latency response, and handle streaming data.
• Collaborate with platform teams and architects to ensure seamless integration and DevOps compliance.
• Implement observability and monitoring using modern tooling.
• Maintain robust documentation of architecture, development, and operational processes.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience in backend or microservices development.

• Strong coding skills in Java, Node.js, or Python.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS preferred), including Helm, operators, manifests.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitOps practices.
• Strong working knowledge of AWS services (EKS, IAM, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Familiarity with Azure AI services and APIs is a plus.
• Understanding of real-time APIs and protocols (e.g., WebSocket, gRPC, event streaming).
• Solid grasp of cloud security, data protection, and compliance standards.
• Strong problem-solving ability and capacity to work independently.
