The Need
For over 25 years, IJM has pioneered the work to protect vulnerable people from violence. 9 out of 9 times in the last decade, IJM’s Justice System Strengthening Projects have reduced slavery and violence between 50 and 85% for very large populations of people in poverty. As we grow to expand our impact to protect 500 million people from violence, we are seeking a Project Manager, Revenue Resources.
The Project Manager, Revenue Resources is responsible foroptimizing planning and operations to support Global Resources efforts to accelerate major and principal giving across 9 Advancement Offices in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
The Project Manager will build plans, operations, manage resource production, resolve bottlenecks, strengthen communication channels and drive efficiencies as a member of the Revenue Resources team. In partnership with programs, finance, fundraising and executive teams, the Revenue Resources team develops assets to assist IJM’s cultivation efforts with top donors and provide strategy support.
This new role is critical to streamline collaboration across teams to minimize the work and maximize the impact. They will develop and implement effective plans to manage each project’s scope, timeline, communications, contracts, budget and progress against performance metrics. This role will identify and implement opportunities to drive process and experience improvement for key stakeholders.

This position is hybrid (onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays) if located in the Washington, DC area or remote for non-local candidates. It reports to the Global Director, Revenue Resourcesand is only available for candidates with the right to work in the US.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Knowledge Development & Implementation:
Lead the process to properly sequence and schedule all work to be done within the Revenue Resources portfolio
Clearly disseminateaccurate data related to project obstacles, milestones, interdependencies and task ownership
Brief stakeholders, solve bottlenecks, assess risks and manage workplans throughout projects to maximize efficiencies and promote scale of resource and consultancy delivery
Serve as point person for Revenue Resources team for system and process improvement across the portfolio
Identify and understand impact of risks of each key initiative, using escalation judgment to ensure projects meet objectives
Communication:
Responsible for communicating critical issues and suggested mitigation plans to Revenue Resources leadership to optimize efficiencies and fulfill project objectives
Manage communications – both incoming out outgoing – for Revenue Resources support and consultancy to IJM’s 10 advancement offices and cross-functional stakeholders
Measuring and Evaluation:
Documenting required data for status and outcomes of projects to drive stakeholder engagement
Documentation and Reporting:
Documentation of all projects, including lessons learned and knowledge management.
Reporting to stakeholders at all levels on the health of the project; and finding innovative ways to make data relevant and a catalyst for decision-making and efficiency.
Managing resources and documents across the Revenue Resources portfolio
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
A minimum of 4-7 years in Project and Portfolio Management
Certified PMP (Preferred)
PfMP and/or ScrumMaster (Optional)
Bachelor’s degree (Required), preferably in related field.
Ability to develop and execute thoughtful project management plans and implement them in a timely and detailed fashion.
Ability to receive guidance and subsequently work independently to implement key initiatives.
Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage competing timelines and priorities.
