Job Summary/Goals
Planning & Delivery analysts are critical supporting the seamless coordination of three critical functions—asset management, software solutions, and business intelligence.
The primary objective is working with project leads/teams, business functions and third-party stakeholders to oversee and help manage timelines, risks, issues and processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing business updates on projects and initiatives including timelines, risks/issues, cost tracking and benefit realisation.
- Identifying interdependencies across functions and optimising the delivery plan.
- Working with project leads to capture progress/issues for approved projects.
- Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management.
- Provide updates to business stakeholders facilitating transparent communication.
- Review consistency and adherence to standards in delivered work packages.
- Identify and manage risks and issues for efficient work package delivery.
- Collaborate with the business change function to scope and prioritise incoming work.
- Develop an engagement and communication plan, serving as the interface between software solutions, business intelligence, asset management, and the wider business.
- Create one view to improve visibility, show dependencies, and offer due diligence.
- Align projects with demand from internal and external supply, helping to map resource requirements.
Experience
- Have worked in an Engineering Service Delivery environment or similar.
- Experience of work with multifunctional teams.
- Have worked with business applications/software to create project plans and business updates.
- Previous experience in software solutions, business intelligence, or asset management is advantageous.
