Instinct Science launched in 2017 to help state-of-the-art veterinary centers better capture missed charges, improve staff efficiency, and enhance patient care. We're headquartered in Greater Philadelphia and are already operating as the patient nerve center for over 130 of the most advanced veterinary care centers in the world.

Thanks for finding us. I'm Caleb, captain of this ship and practicing emergency veterinarian.

A few years ago I wrote an article about frustrations with the state of veterinary software. In 2017, our friendly group of technology and veterinary experts came together and decided to do something about it.

You may not know our team yet, but you already know our work. We're industry experts with decades of combined experience practicing, leading, advising, and building veterinary centers and point-of-care tools.

Instinct is majority-backed by veterinarians, including many of the industry's leading specialists you know and trust. As a company, we're driven by one principle: we care. We care about our team. We care about our work. We care about our customers. And we care about the patients and clients that Instinct impacts.

As for our products: they're different. Medical software is no longer just a business application — it's a set of critical tools we use to care for our patients, on par with the stethoscope, and we believe it's time to design them that way.

That's why we study, test, refine, and obsess over everything we build. We live with the tools we develop when we're in practice ourselves. And we're just getting started. Over time, Instinct will constantly improve and grow, helping you solve related practice challenges with thoughtfully designed solutions.
