As the Engineering Manager for our Delivery Team, you will be an essential contributor to this mission. Delivery team is responsible for creating a seamless experience to deliver orders from grocery stores to our customers on time with the highest quality. Your leadership in driving the strategy and technical trajectories for our perfect delivery framework, coupled with your aptitude to deliver complex projects through cross-functional collaboration, will significantly enhance our business metrics. You will play a transformative role in enhancing customer satisfaction, reducing delivery failures and fostering a delightful Instacart delivery experience. Your acumen in recruiting, developing, and nurturing top talent, will be pivotal as we grow, daring to innovate for long-term industry-wide growth. As part of the Shopper Org, our Delivery Team strongly embodies Instacart's competency of 'Solving Creatively.' We are responsible for key metrics affecting business health, including customer satisfaction, improving delivery times and reducing failed deliveries. Our team's mission is to foster a transparent real-time delivery experience, equipped with robust detection systems for proactive issue resolution using AI/ML systems and an efficient reverse logistics setup.
