Embedded Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Engineer to join our client's team in the automotive industry. The role focuses on developing the next generation of Android-based infotainment systems for leading global car manufacturers. You will be part of a distributed, international team working on innovative in-vehicle user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the design, development, and delivery of Android-based infotainment head units.
• Work closely with global teams to create cutting-edge automotive UX solutions.
• Develop software from concept through implementation and lifecycle support.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
• Port software to new hardware platforms and improve performance.
• Collaborate with third-party suppliers to ensure high software quality.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in embedded software development..
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel.
• Experience with Python for tooling and test development, and CI/CD workflows.
• Familiarity with software design methodologies and quality standards (TDD is a plus).
• Agile development experience.
• Nice to have: Android architecture and tool chain, SoC/ARM platforms, UART/SPI/I2C/USB.
• Knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and automotive networks (CAN, SOME/IP) is a plus.
• Awareness of Functional Safety and SPICE processes is a plus.
